About Me

     My name is Cathy Martin. I recently moved to this area from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Although I am new to Texas, I am not new to the teaching profession.  I have been teaching and working with children my entire life.  My husband's job has moved us across the country and I have taught in four different states in a variety of environments.  However, kindergarten is my favorite place to be.

     I have been married to Carey for 33-years and we have five grown children and one grandchild.  My favorite activities are traveling, spending time with family and reading a good book.  

     I am excited to be your partner in this adventure we call kindergarten!  My prayer is that my class will be full of love, laughter and learning.  I know that together we can make this a wonderful year for your child.  Go Bearcats!
