I am excited about starting this year 2023-2024!!! Great things are happening at Moody Elementary and we are showing Bearcat pride in so many ways. We are going to focus on 6 major characteristics this year. These include Positive Self Concept, Responsibility, Kindness, Respect, Honesty and Self Improvement. We will also include the physical and intellectual positive action for a healthy self concept. Every six weeks we will have a positive action assembly which will celebrate the students who received a positive note for that six weeks. One student from each grade will be drawn and they will get to paint a ceiling tile which will go in the elementary hallway. I will conduct individual, group and all classroom counseling. I will send home permission forms for the group counseling at the beginning of the year. If I need to have several individual sessions with a student I will also call the parent or send home a permission form.

Non perishable food drive will be the beginning of December.
Moody ISD is partnering with the Texas Child Health Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) project to provide students with access to behavioral health telemedicine services. These services are free and students will be able to visit with a licensed counselor or psychologist without leaving campus. Please contact our district Social Worker or your child's School Counselor for more information.
