About me
Welcome to a new school year! This will be my 17th year teaching at Moody Elementary but my 21st year as a Bearcat parent. My oldest daughter, Brittany, graduated as Valedictorian from Moody High School in 2016. Haley graduated from Moody High School in 2019. I am looking forward to an exciting school year.
In my off time, I am always busy either working on our family's ranch or hauling my daughters to a barrel race. Both activities keep me extremely busy, but I am never too busy to help with any questions or problems that you may have. I am available during my conference time from 12:00-12:55 daily or any evening by email. The school phone number is 853-2155 and my email address is [email protected].
The first grade team will be sending home a weekly newsletter to keep you informed of what is going on in our classrooms. Parental support at home is vital to the success of your child, including nightly reading, math fact practice, spelling concepts, and any other homework your child may have. Please make sure you are checking your child's folder nightly for any notes, homework, or other important news from the school.
